Fallout 76 Nails the Sensation of Being out in the Wilderness

There's a lot of ill-thought out stuff in here. For example, there are long audio tapes with people's backstories and recollections of events etc on them, which love listening to. It's a bit hard to fully appreciate them, however, when you're being interrupted by someone breathing into a microphone or just generally being a prat, or when you're constantly under attack by mutants which happens all the time.

It is not visually polished, particularly not when placed against its open-world video game contemporaries. Foliage is jagged and washed-out. Textures pop in constantly. Fair enough, but there's no mention of specific performance improvements for the PlayStation 4 version of the release. It's no secret that the game runs incredibly poorly on Sony's system, so it's a bit concerning that this next patch supposedly doesn't do anything to improve the often dismal frame rate or fix the ridiculous amount of stuttering. The latter issue was meant to be fixed via the title's previous patch, by the way.

FO76 Caps

A lengthy report from Eurogamer runs down the details. Basically, a user named NathanTheHicc approached a group for a Disease Cure item. One member of that group, AJ, says the three of us were having a good time and talking to him and then one of us commented on his character or his characters outfit being cute. Fallout 76 is Bethesda's take on a multiplayer Fallout game. From a narrative perspective, we're here because we were residents of Vault 76, which is home to the best and brightest citizens who are tasked with revitalizing the Wasteland after the nukes drop. Fallout 76 never again really touches on this thematic premise. No part of this game concerns itself with starting life anew. If you cherished this write-up and you would like to obtain a lot more data relating to FO76 Caps kindly pay a visit to the web site.

Flip boards inside nuke silos will no longer display portions of launch codes soon after codes are reset.
Display durations for social notifications are now shorter when many notifications are pending.
Health bonuses will no longer be granted with the Electrically Charged and Unstable Isotope mutations.
Ranking up perk cards won't cause duplicate cards to show up.
An issue that prevented teams from being correctly formed in a game after being created on the main menu is gone.
Turrets will no longer become invisible when players aren't at their C.A.M.P. when they're destroyed.

At the very least, the game needs to stabilize itself. Bethesda needs to ensure servers aren't booting people out left and right, causing them to lose progress. They need to keep fixing bugs, the big, gamebreaking ones, but the little ones too, polishing this game into what should have been its proper state at launch.

But there's a lot of fun to be had in these missions. Four players means you can have a lot more enemies to face off against, resulting in furious firefights that are as intense as anything in the campaign. It's also interesting how the game handles storytelling itself, as you'll often be given a choice whether to do the honorable thing.
